The Festivus Pole…..

An essential item for your Festivus Party is the Festivus Pole. There are quite a few prepaid options available but we decided to make ours fairly simply by getting a Christmas tree base at Big Lots and buy a 4 ft piece of custom cut conduit from Home Depot. Just make sure the conduit is thick enough to stand solidly in whatever base you use. We have a small apartment and couldn’t really use a Christmas tree anymore because our cat would constantly chew on it. You can get some cheap colored post it notes and maybe some clear tape at a dollar store so that you can write and tape your grievances to it which is very cathartic.
